PROJECT DESCRIPTIONPeter Pan is a nightly show performed over a small lake. FTSI provided a flying rig and travel system that is used
several times during the show. Peter Pan flies alone as well as with Jane at the end of the show.
A launch/landing tower houses FTSI winches, counterweight and head block. Another tower, 595 feet away, contains the tail block. At the base of the Launch tower is
the Winch House, providing shelter for the winch and counterweight arbor. The head block is 148’ above ground level. Travel and lift speeds are 25 fps.
The suspension track consists of two 1/2” steel cables that stretch from
the launch tower to the tail block tower. Each cable is tensioned with it's
own counterweight arbor, located in the launch tower. The carrier rides
on the cables and, with dual lift lines, suspends the performer using a floating
pulley arrangement. Click
