Basic Multi-Purpose Cable Winches
The FTSI "G Series" winch units are basic, multi-purpose winch machines built from standard, low-cost parts group. They are very reliable, robust machines, generally intended for permanent installations, and can be easily supplied in a wide range of configurations to suit the needs of your production.

G winches employ a standard motor section that can be fitted to a number of different configurations, from a basic single groove helical drum to long multi-line drums for lineset deal hauls, to capstans and yo-yos, friction drives, or even direct drive chain and belt sprockets. Multiple drum sections may be also attached and coupled via shafts to provide lineshaft assemblies. The G series can be fitted with a wide range of options, including redundant brake systems, on-board controllers, local job and motion controls, several different cable keeper options, travelling fairlead assemblies, zero fleet angle transport bases, and a variety of mounting accessories and options.
