Plug and Play I/O
The FTSI DA-2 I/O controller is a full featured, plug- and-play I/O unit featuring 16 channels of contact closure output, 16 channels of 24V input, four channels of 0-10V analog input. Analog inputs and outputs can optionally be configured to operate at +/-10V levels.

The face of the DA-2 provides a direct means of "bump" testing channels by pressing the corresponding membrane pushbutton. Channel status is monitored by LED indicators for each channel. Analog outputs may be manipulated from the face panel using the LCD display and rotary dial control. The LCD can also display channel labels and states for all 32 inputs and outputs.

Connections are made at the rear of the unit via field teminated Phoenix connectors, and any number of inputs or outputs may be utilized at any time.

The DA-2 is fully intergrated with the Navigator automation system, and every channel is completely controllable and cueable from any operator station on the network. Any number of DA-2 units can reside on the same network, and these units can co-exist with any other I/O device on the network without conflict, including PLCs and I/O modules.
